Today, State Representative Julie McCluskie announced that she has endorsed John Hickenlooper’s bid for U.S. Senate, citing his leadership on conservation and education as well as his commitment to the people of the Rocky Mountains and Western Slope.
“John Hickenlooper is the leader Colorado needs in the U.S. Senate with a proven track record of getting things done for our state,” said Representative Julie McCluskie. “From protecting our public lands and combating climate change and pledging to fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund to improving educational outcomes for Colorado’s students and expanding access to health care, it’s clear that John has the right priorities and the ability to deliver on them in order to clean up the mess in Washington. I’m proud to support his campaign.”

Representative McCluskie is the latest endorsement Hickenlooper has earned in the past few weeks. She joins others including Senate President Leroy Garcia, The Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, Pipefitters Local 208, NARAL, and many other local and national leaders and organizations.
