Calls Trump’s Lawsuit to Overturn ACA During Pandemic “Lunacy”
Today, Hickenlooper for Colorado released a new ad titled “Get to Work,” highlighting Hickenlooper’s commitment to expanding access to health care, lowering costs, and protecting people with pre-existing medical conditions. As Governor, Hickenlooper expanded coverage to half a million more Coloradans, and he wants to continue that work in the U.S. Senate. Unfortunately, even during this health crisis, the Trump administration is going the exact wrong direction, trying to take away health care coverage from millions with a dangerous lawsuit now before the Supreme Court.

HICKENLOOPER: In the middle of a health crisis, why is the Trump administration in court to get rid of people’s protections for pre-existing medical conditions? It’s lunacy.
When I was governor, we got health coverage for 500,000 more Coloradans.
In the Senate, I want to stop the surprise medical bills, lower the cost of prescription drugs, and make sure you can’t lose coverage if you get COVID-19.
