Today Hickenlooper for Colorado released a new TV ad, “Water,” featuring Keith Bath, a farmer from Ft. Morgan, touting John Hickenlooper’s work fighting for farmers and ranchers and developing the first statewide water plan.
As Mayor, Hickenlooper took office during a time of record-setting drought, and as governor was widely seen as the “first governor to put water at the forefront” with his collaborative approach to building a statewide water plan.
“Water” Transcript:
KEITH BATH: I’ve known John Hickenlooper almost ten years. John knows that if you don’t have water, you don’t have a farm. He created the first statewide water plan that Colorado has ever had. He got people together that never agree on anything. He can organize. He gets things moving. And he will listen.
He knows the state of Colorado better than anyone I know. I think that Washington needs someone like him so bad.
John Hickenlooper is a good man.
HICKENLOOPER: I’m John Hickenlooper and I approve this message.
