In the closing days of the election, Hickenlooper for Colorado released a new ad, “No Waver,” using Senator Cory Gardner and President Trump’s own words to highlight Gardner’s broken promise to be an independent voice for Colorado.
In a 2014 campaign ad, Gardner infamously promised voters that “when my party is wrong, I’ll say it.” But as President Trump noted himself at a February rally, Gardner has instead stood with him “100%” of the time — “there was no waver.”
During the debates, Gardner reaffirmed his support for President Trump saying he was “proud” of the work he and Trump have done to attack our health care, environment, democracy, and fundamental freedoms. Gardner also called Trump a “moral and ethical man.”
