Senator Cory Gardner’s desperation is really starting to show.
Gardner and his Washington allies have spent months — and millions of dollars — running attack ads against John Hickenlooper that independent fact checkers have called “horrifying,” “not true,” “false” and “smells like sh*t” while Gardner airs his own ad lying about his record on pre-existing conditions.
Now Gardner is again distorting the truth while admitting that his loyalty to President Trump, his failure to deliver COVID relief for five months, and his record of voting to gut protections for 2.4 million Coloradans with pre-existing conditions is out of step with Colorado voters.
We “may not always agree” is a contender for understatement of the cycle.
“Well Cory Gardner has one thing right in his latest desperate attack: Coloradans don’t agree with him selling out Colorado for Trump again and again,” said Hickenlooper for Colorado spokesperson Alyssa Roberts. “Trump himself said that Cory Gardner is with him 100% of the time, even when Coloradans are begging Gardner to protect our health care, environment, and reproductive freedom. So Senator Gardner is right — he doesn’t agree with Colorado, and Coloradans won’t fall for his lies no matter how many desperate and misleading attacks he runs.”
