Carroll Was First African American Speaker of Colorado House
Today, former Speaker Terrance Carroll endorsed John Hickenlooper’s campaign for U.S. Senate. Carroll has seen John’s work firsthand and he knows that he’s the candidate we need to defeat Senator Cory Gardner and deliver for Coloradans.
“I’ve known John Hickenlooper to be a solutions-oriented leader who brings people together to get things done,” said Speaker Carroll. “We need John as our U.S. Senator if we want to see progress in the fight against racial injustice; sustainable economic recovery for all; and progressive climate change policies — and John has always risen to the challenge.
