“We’re Colorado”
To kick off the week, Hickenlooper for Colorado released its first TV ad, titled “We’re Colorado.” The ad highlights John’s experience as Governor, helping bring Colorado out of the Great Recession and taking it from the 40th state in job creation to the number one economy in the country three years in a row.
Douglas County Democrats Forum
On Monday, John answered questions about his plan to bring change to Washington at a forum hosted by the Douglas County Democrats.
Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month
John participated in a virtual roundtable conversation with members of Colorado’s Asian American Pacific Islander community to talk about what steps can be taken to build a more equitable Colorado. John looks forward to continuing to work with Colorado’s AAPI community.
Conversation with Colorado Black Community Leaders
On Wednesday, John Bailey and other African American leaders hosted a virtual conversation about the killings of black people and the path forward for our state and country. Mayor Michael Hancock and John listened in and gave a few words about Black Lives Matter.
