Some of the things happening in Washington are so hard to believe, it almost seems like a joke.
Today, it is actually against the law for Medicare to negotiate cheaper drug prices. That’s crazy! If Medicare paid the same rates as the Department of Veterans Affairs does, drug prices could be up to 50% lower. While these companies make record profits, families are getting crushed by high costs. If other countries can negotiate for lower drug prices, why can’t Medicare? This has to change.
