NEW AD: Hickenlooper Shares Memory of Father He Lost to Cancer, Highlights Need for Health Care During Pandemic

“I can’t understand how Cory Gardner can be trying to take health care away from people in the middle of this crisis”

Today, Hickenlooper for Colorado released a new TV ad, “Hugs,” in which John remembers his father, sympathizes with families today who can’t be together during COVID-19, and promises to protect their health care. Despite these heart wrenching stories, Senator Cory Gardner has continued his long crusade to rip away health care coverage from millions of Coloradans.

Transcript:

My dad used to let us tickle him and then he’d scoop us up and hug us tight.

I don’t have a lot of memories of him – he died of cancer when I was eight. But I can still feel that hug.

I can’t understand how Cory Gardner can be trying to take health care away from people in the middle of this crisis.

I’m John Hickenlooper. I approve this message. I will always fight to protect your health care.
