On track to raise more than $1 million for Q2

82% of donations were $25 or less

COLORADO – Today, U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper reported that his campaign raised more than $900,000 ahead of the pre-primary filing deadline and has nearly $3 million cash on hand for his 2026 reelection campaign. U.S. Senate campaigns are required to report donations from April 1st through June 10th in their Pre-Primary Report. Hickenlooper is on track to raise more than $1 million for the second quarter of 2026, keeping his lead as the only statewide candidate in Colorado to raise more than one million dollars each quarter since 2025.

His campaign continues to receive strong grassroots support, with 82% of donations being $25 or less.

“Donald Trump has continued to shell out billions for bombs, ballrooms, and his Epstein class buddies,” said Hickenlooper. “Coloradans deserve better. They deserve health care, affordable housing, and lower prices. We’re proud to harness the support of Coloradans who are fired up to fight and stop this president and his cruel agenda.”

Hickenlooper has also continued to build a strong coalition needed to defeat MAGA and keep Colorado blue.

Leading Colorado voices, national progressive groups, and labor organizations have also announced support for Hickenlooper’s reelection. He’s backed by the the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance (GMDMA), U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Jon Ossoff, Pipefitters Local 208, the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Association (CPFF), SMART Sheet Metal Workers Local 9, AFSCME, Western States Carpenters, Reproductive Freedom for All, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, NRDC Action, Brady PAC, GIFFORDS PAC, End Citizens United and Let America Vote, League of Conservation Voters Action Fund and Conservation Colorado, and 314 Action. His campaign keeps reaching out to voters all across Colorado, including in Grand Junction, Arvada, Fort Collins, Durango, Pueblo, Fort Morgan, Jefferson County, Colorado Springs, and more.

Last year, Hickenlooper also raised $100,000 for the Colorado Democratic Party to help build the strongest grassroots organizing effort ever to hold President Trump and MAGA Republicans accountable for their reckless policies that increase prices and rip health care away from millions of Americans.

Hickenlooper’s campaign has already received donations from each of Colorado’s 64 counties this cycle.
